Olsen is the theme that I currently have for my blog and I really enjoy the whole aesthetic that it gives off. I enjoy the round picture on the sidebar and I like the menus and the simple yet bold look to it.
I enjoy the fact that Apex makes it super easy to have a nice looking blog easily with this super simple minimalistic theme. The header is not a header image but just a font that you use for your title. The downside to this is that it’s not very customizable. It’s hard to make it look exactly like how you want it too but it is a wonderful theme for your first blog.
Lifestyle just makes me happy. I don’t quite know why but the font on the header is really well done and the image that you can see in this example blog is really beautiful. I adore all the fonts used for this.
Baskerville reminds me of a theme you’d see in a blog that reviews things. The layout of it just reminds me of it. It features lots of little posts with a featured image and shows less about the author and more about the content. I like the font Baskerville a lot so it’s nice to see it under a spotlight.
If you look at what it says at the header of the first post it says for Beautiful Typography. I’m going to disagree and say that the typography is so so and not exactly beautiful. It’s a bit plain but the layout is just beautiful. I think that with a different font this could be the best theme around.
6. Morning Demo
Morning Demo is a theme for the person looking for a strong, bold looking blog. I enjoy the header font and the post layout as well as the widget and side bard layout. I’m not a huge fan of the pages being displayed at the top but it’s excusable and not that big of an issue.
7. Adelle Theme
Adelle Theme has that light hint of color and fun then a lot of the other themes. It has the pink bubbles and a little flirty banner and adorable circle that displays what I believe is the date the post was published. The layout to this is just pure cute. I would certainly recommend this blog to anyone looking for a simple, clean yet flirty blog theme.
Isle seems to be a really nice theme for a business, specifically a subscription box. It just looks like a subscription box theme. It has a logo on the top left hand corner and the way that it displays the different bars and sections.
Themsify Base reminds me a lot of Morning Demo but it’s slightly more subtle. The text is mostly grey and the background is a less intense white. Either way this is a beautiful theme.
I am just in love with this theme. The more I look at it the more it captures my attention (see what I did there, see, see!) and the more I like it. This one does have great typography and the corners on the image looks amazing. I can’t stress how much I like this typography. It gives you the impression of a humble blog that you’d connect to the blogger with on a personal level.
Family has a really cute theme. It’s a sweet look that would really work for a baby business or company. Can’t you just see like a diaper being displayed as a product? At least I can.
I think Nova is a great theme for a business like a non profit or something like that. It’s quite beautiful and still simple. I don’t like the header so much but the rest of the theme is very beautiful.
13. Naya Lite
Naya lite is a super sweet and cute theme. I like the green at the top the most. This is just a basic theme. It is a bit crowded but it still looks okay.
I love the black bubbles on the top and the circles on the left of the example post. The squares for the featured image are quite beautiful. It gives you a hint of zen and something super clean. I love the fonts used and the whole way everything looks together.
15. Bad Johnny
Bad Johnny is the sort of theme you’d expect to see for a parenting blog (I think the name really really suits the theme). The font is just playful but still professional. It’s the perfect theme for a person looking for a professional but still fun and playful and simple looking blog.
Suits is a really straight forward bold and professional theme. I love love love the header with the black and the bar under it with the dark charcoal grey. I can’t stress enough that if you’re looking for a professional theme, to go with this one.
The nice part about ingrid is the fact that there is a lot of color and fun in this theme. The flowers on the header banner are really pretty and it really incorporates a lot of color as well as the black and white contrast.
I love the white, black line, and then once again white for this theme it is a very professional but still modest theme. Some themes give you the idea that the person is trying to hard but this one is just simple and nice.
Sketch is just a nice calm theme. The calmness of it is really shown through the images being the centerpiece and the grey background.
20. Portfolio Press
Radcliffe is such a sweet theme for a blog and it makes me just think of a blog in which you’d see the best posts and all that. The font is nice and the pictures are well displayed. It is a bit annoying to have to scroll down to see some posts but it is a nice theme.
Origamiez is such a zen theme with the simple and clean font and the red circles displayed on the right hand side. The banners on the images show off the post title in a clean and beautiful way and if you’re looking for just an overall great theme go for Origamiez I don’t think you can really go wrong with it.
23. Joanna Doe
Joanna Doe is a stylish and fashionable sort of theme with the images and the left hand paragraph giving a bit of a description of whatever is going on in the blog.
Hannover is a modern and minimalistic theme with nice fonts and a large bold picture right on display.
Crawford is a bold and beautiful font and the image display is done well. I really enjoy how the page banner has lines separating between the different pages. It’s a very nice theme.
I like the fonts on this theme. I just really like the fonts. The tall and skinny font looks very cute and adds some fun back into the blog. I must say that I don’t love the rest of it but for the font alone I do enjoy the theme.
A very pretty theme. I like the round image and the way that all the images are displayed on this one. The follow me things are up on top of the header which looks great and the font used for the header is quite pretty.
Such a great and joyous theme (Bulan that is) it just makes you want to dance a bit. The image at the top kind of frames the whole theme and it’s really pretty. I like the bars on the side and the way that it just shows off images in a great way.
What themes did I miss?
